Stillwater Trip

On Tuesday, which was Emily's birthday, we went to Stillwater with Jessi, Chris, and Mckayla. We havn't been there in almost a year and were on a mission to find cute OSU shirts for the girls. We didn't have much luck for them but Jessi and I found some cute shirts for us.
First we stopped at Joe's to eat some lunch. We were all craving some cheese fries. Boy were they yummy!! Here we are taking some pictures to kill some time before we were seated.

After lunch we let the girls run around the front entrance. This year was Eskimo Joe's 34th Anniversary.

Family picture time.

After lunch we walked around campus trying to burn off our lunch. I told Jessi I felt so out of place with having kids with us and walking around with cameras and bags from a store. It almost felt like we were tourists.

Some students were going around promoting the Orange Peel that's coming soon and they were playing music and had people walking around in different costumes. We went over to the library and there were rubber ducks floating in the water fountain outside. I don't remember what they were promoting. The girls had so much fun picking them out and throwing them back in the water.

Next we went over to Theta Pond and let the girls run around the ponds and chase the ducks walking by.

We bought the girls matching spirit beads and they loved wearing them around campus.

Here's Emily saying no more pictures mom.

We finally got them to sit down for a little bit.

Emily trying to show us how old she is.

Got it!

This is how Emily got around most of the time. On Matt's shoulders. Here she is acting like she's riding a horse while almost choking Matt.

After we were tired of walking around campus, we found a Marble Slab ice cream place. I let Emily pick out whatever she wanted since it was her birthday. She picked the cone with all the colored sprinkles. She really enjoyed it and didn't want to share with me.

Thanks for a fun time Chris, Jessi, and Mckayla. We'll have to go back again and see more of the town next time.
