I made her hairbows the night before to go with her shirt that we got at the Disney store.
Once we got in the building Emily was getting really excited. There was booths everywhere that had souviners that were waaayyy overpriced. They also had spots where you could get your picture taken with cardboard cutouts of the different characters, but the cost was overpriced too. We ended up just going over to the princess pre-show instead. They had some of the dresses on display and they had a real princess there too. Matt put Emily on his shoulders so she could see better.
The princess that was there was Cinderella. Emily kept waving to her and was telling me about her waving to her once he got home and even today.
I tried to get her to take a picture by the other dresses but she wouldn't. I guess it was because there were so many people, but I did get her to stand by Snow White's dress. She was looking up at some lady that was saying how cute she was.
Once we found our seats, Matt left to go get some Funnel Cake for us. It was soo yummy and Emily didn't want to share with us. While he was gone their was a couple of ladies in front of us with a little boy who had a couple of spinny light up toys they were selling there. The ladies motioned one of the guys going around selling them to come over to see what other toys he had. When the guy came over Emily kept telling me she wanted one. I told her that we would have to wait until Daddy came back since he had the cash. He ended up coming back with a TinkerBell light up toy. He couldn't resist not buying her anything. She kept wanting some cups too but I told her we would just go get one at the Disney store the next time we went to the mall.
Finally the show started. It was four shows in one. They first started out with Mickey and Minnie Mouse coming out and welcoming everyone to the show in their own little car. Then it broke down and they left and some of the characters from Cars came out. They were pretty cool. They were actual life size cars and their eyes and mouths moved.

I looked over at Emily, who sat in Matt's lap the whole time, and she just had big eyes taking in everything. Here's a pic of her TinkerBell light up spin toy.
After Cars was over it was time for the Little Mermaid. Then they did the Lion King, which was pretty cool and then it was time for intermission. After that was the big show for TinkerBell. It was neat too but by then I was ready to go. Plus sitting in hard chairs for two hours was starting to hurt our bums. The videos aren't that great, but you get the picture.
All in all, we had a great time despite the rain in the morning. It was well worth the cost of the tickets and the look on Emily's face when seeing Cinderella was priceless. I can't wait for her birthday party which is now less than a week away.
