Myriad Garden Pictures

Matt's parents came down for the holiday weekend. I had to work Saturday and Sunday we went downtown to the Myriad Gardens to see if we could get some pictures of us. Here is a picture of Emily on our way downtown. There are a lot of pictures that I posted. I had a hard time choosing which ones to post. These are all out of order from how I uploaded them too.

We found this bench that was perfect for a group shot of us all.

This is my favorite picture of Matt's parents with Emily. This was taken inside the Myriad Gardens.

Here's Matt taking a picture of his dad taking a picture of him. If that makes since.

Hi Pops!!
Emily loved chasing after the ducks. She ran all the way down this really steep hill to get down to the pond area. I was very impressed that she didn't even fall down. She kept scaring them into the water. If she could she would have gone right in the water with them.
Matt was trying to set the timer. He kept going back and forth and was trying to get back fast. He kind of looks funny all the way back there.

I'm really not trying to grop Emily. She was trying to get away from me and I was trying to pull her back up onto my lap.

This one was a good one of all of us. Just if Emily was smiling. At least she was looking in the right direction.

This one cracks me up. Where did everyone go?

This is a really good one of Mark and Selina.

And some silly ones.

She was trying to be big and put her arms around us.

Awww...so cute!

All because two people fell in love.

New Car

Last week, I saw that Target had these cozy coupe cars on sale in their ad and so I had to go get one. Little did I know that it would be a pain to put together. I guess it was all worth it because Emily loves riding in it. She's very stylish with her glasses on.

I thought it was funny when she just abondoned her car.

After the car ride they went to the playground in our neighborhood.

She loves going down the big curly slide by herself now, but only backwards.

Fun with the Sprinkler

I had the day off today and after lunchtime Emily and I went outside to water the plants. She kept trying to get in the water and so finally I went and put her in her swimsuit and found the Elmo sprinkler. She had a blast playing in the water and didn't want to come back in the house. We weren't out for very long, but I got a little sun burn and she got a tan. I guess she is going to take after Matt. He tans pretty easily and I just burn. I have noticed that she is getting more freckles though. At first she thought they were owies (however you spell that). Now she knows what they are called and has to point out all of my freckles.

Church Anniversary

Last weekend we went to Tulsa to attend WHBC's 50th Anniversary. This was the church that I grew up at and got married in and the church that my parents still go to. It was a lot of fun and there were so many people who attended that I hadn't seen in years who had moved on to other churches. After the service was over they had lunch under a big tent. These are just a few pictures that my mom took of us.

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we drove to Tulsa and had lunch with my family. We went to some Bar-B-Q restaurant in Broken Arrow. Here's Emily with my sister, Aunt Kaci.

My Uncle David.

Aunt Cindy

Emily just took a piece of candy out of my dad's pocket and she has it in her mouth. She knows where he keeps his stash at now.

I thought this picture was funny. My dad's making some goofy face at Emily.

My Aunt Traci and cousin Bethany.
and one with my Uncle Rob.

We still like each other after all these years.

My sister took a picture of herself on our camera. Such a lovely shoot sis.

Diaper Duty

I caught Emily trying to change her baby's diaper with her own pull-ups. They are about as big as the baby doll. Here she looks like she is concentrating really hard.

She finally gave up and started reading a book to her baby.

Hail Storm

We've been having rainstorms almost everyday since last week. One night, it was storming so bad when we put Emily down for bed and she was so scared and started crying and was shaking. The thunder was pretty loud and it was lightning a lot and she kept pointing to the window. Ever since that night she has been having a hard time going to bed and still points to the window even though it's not raining. Well today she actually enjoyed looking out the window. It hailed pretty good this morning and Matt opened the door and picked a piece of hail to show Emily what it was. We told her it was like ice.
