What an Outfit

I was cleaning out Emily's closet the other day and she found her hat and gloves in some container. The next time I saw her she had them on with her rainboots and no pants. She's so silly!

She was getting mad because she couldn't get the door open with her gloves on. LOL

Fall Pictures

Today I dragged Matt and Emily out to the park again for some Fall pictures of Emily. She was all about doing poses today.

I think this close up of her face is one of my new favorites.

Matt kept saying she looked like a little hoodlum with her hat on. I thought this looked like her homey pose.

Yo-yo waz up my homey!! LOL

Go Pokes

Yesterday we were all decked out in our OSU gear to cheer on the cowboys for a victorious win. Can't say the same for the Sooners. Haha...j/k.

Emily got a new OSU cheerleader outfit. She was a cute little cheerleader. All she needs now is some pom poms.

Fall Festival

This past Friday was the Fall Festival at Emily's daycare. They got to wear their costumes and they even had trunk or treat for the kiddos out in the parking lot. We got Emily to say 'Trick or Treat' to the adults handing out candy. I asked Emily 'what do you say' when we would go up to them and she would say 'thank you'. Then I said yes but you say 'Trick or Treat' if you want candy. After a few times of that she caught on and would say 'thank you' after they would put candy in her bucket. It was too cute.
This year she was a fairy. She would tell everyone what she was going to be and it sounded like mary. It took me a while to figure out what she was saying and then I said, 'oh, you mean fairy?' and then she said 'that's what I said'. LOL!!

Smelling the roses outside.

They had lots of different activities at the festival. This was right after we got there.
She got her face painted and she told the girl that she wanted a butterfly.

She even got to decorate a cookie.

And made a Halloween frame to put on the fridge.

They also had a costume contest for three different age groups. She won the contest in her group.

Here are some pictures of Emily with a few of her favorite people at school.

Recent Crafts

During our vacation, I started to get a little bored toward the end of the week. I came up with some projects to make for Halloween. I saw some really cute Halloween frames at some boutique store that somebody made and were selling them for around twenty dollars. After I looked at them, I thought to myself that I could do that for pretty cheap. So, I went and bought some supplies and this is what I came up with.

I also did our annual pumpkins with our names on them. This time I used fake pumpkins so we could use them for next year too.

I decided to try to make an OSU bow. Like I said, I was getting bored and can only take so much football in one day.

Reading in Bed

I bought this Snow White book at the Disney store before the movie came out on Blu-ray. Emily insisted on taking it to bed with her during her naptime. Usually when she goes to bed at night she likes to take about ten different books to bed with her, a couple of dolls, and a blanket. After a few minutes of her being in bed I went to check on her and this is how I found her.

Science Museum

I'm a little late at posting our trip to the Omniplex Science Museum in OKC. We went there during our vacation a few weeks ago. I remember going there in elementary school thinking it was so cool. Well, when we went a few weeks ago it wasn't that exciting. But, at least it was something different to do besides shopping all the time.
Here is Emily doing one of the many experiments they have throughout the building. She was having fun lifting something that made some rings fall down the slope.

There was this section that had a treehouse look, where you could climb on stuff and there was a huge lookin' fort with a metal twisty slide that started at the very top and came all the way down to the bottom. I must say it was the tallest slide I've been on.

Here's Matt and Emily at the very top.

He let Emily go down the slide by herself, which was a mistake. She tumbled all the way down and her shoes came off. She was also crying as she came down. Then after I picked her up and put her shoes back on she said she wanted to do it again. LOL. So, I climbed all the way up with her and came down the slide with her in my lap. Let's just say it's not the best slide. It kinda hurt coming down.

There was this little pail that you could pull up to the top of the fort and you could throw down little bean bags. You used the pail to take them back up to the top.

Teeter-totter time.

An overlook of the inside of the museum.

Their big exhibit was a space ship.

They also had an airplane and train section. Emily really liked to see the cho-cho trains going around the tracks.

More Stillwater Pics

These are some of the pictures that Jessi took with her camera while we were eating at Joe's.

I was trying to get a family picture of the Bracks until Emily showed up in one of them. LOL!!

Group shot of all of us in front of the library.

The girls riding on their daddies shoulders.
