Watermelon Cutie

We went to Tulsa today for my cousin Bethany's 15th birthday party. Once we got back home I wanted to get a picture of Emily in her new outfit from Gymboree. They have the cutest clothes and this watermelon outfit is from one of their new lines. She looked so pretty in it today. She was just sitting there on the sidewalk and she actually looks like she is posing in this and some of the other pictures.

Ebay Stuff

I don't really get on ebay that much, but last night I guess I was bored. I typed in boutique clothes and found a store that sells really cute clothes that are inexpensive. I bid on this lady bug one for only $12.99 and won it.


I'm still waiting on this pink zebra one. The starting bid was $15.99 and it doesn't end until Tuesday. So, nobody better place a bid on it.

Tiara

Emily has really gotten into Strawberry Shortcake. At least the videos. Matt bought her one a few weeks ago and she just wants to watch it over and over again. We were at Best Buy on Monday and we bought a new DVD of S.S. and it came with this little foam tiara. The whole thing was only five bucks. So, I couldn't pass it up. I've been trying to find toys of S.S., but I can't find anything at any of the main stores we go to. I looked online and I guess the toy manufacturers are updating SS and giving her a new look. Hopefully they will come out with the new line soon.

New Pool

On Memorial Day, we went to the park and played and it was just so hot. We decided to get Emily a new pool. Matt saw it at Wal-Mart earlier that day and was telling me about it. It has a little blow up slide and the zebra head squirts water into the pool. Emily really loves it. They had different animals on some of the other pool designs and she picked this one.

Myriad Garden Pictures

Matt's parents came down for the holiday weekend. I had to work Saturday and Sunday we went downtown to the Myriad Gardens to see if we could get some pictures of us. Here is a picture of Emily on our way downtown. There are a lot of pictures that I posted. I had a hard time choosing which ones to post. These are all out of order from how I uploaded them too.

We found this bench that was perfect for a group shot of us all.

Hi Pops!!

Emily loved chasing after the ducks. She ran all the way down this really steep hill to get down to the pond area. I was very impressed that she didn't even fall down. She kept scaring them into the water. If she could she would have gone right in the water with them.

Matt was trying to set the timer. He kept going back and forth and was trying to get back fast. He kind of looks funny all the way back there.

I'm really not trying to grop Emily. She was trying to get away from me and I was trying to pull her back up onto my lap.

This one was a good one of all of us. Just if Emily was smiling. At least she was looking in the right direction.

New Car

Last week, I saw that Target had these cozy coupe cars on sale in their ad and so I had to go get one. Little did I know that it would be a pain to put together. I guess it was all worth it because Emily loves riding in it. She's very stylish with her glasses on.

I thought it was funny when she just abondoned her car.

After the car ride they went to the playground in our neighborhood.

She loves going down the big curly slide by herself now, but only backwards.

Fun with the Sprinkler

I had the day off today and after lunchtime Emily and I went outside to water the plants. She kept trying to get in the water and so finally I went and put her in her swimsuit and found the Elmo sprinkler. She had a blast playing in the water and didn't want to come back in the house. We weren't out for very long, but I got a little sun burn and she got a tan. I guess she is going to take after Matt. He tans pretty easily and I just burn. I have noticed that she is getting more freckles though. At first she thought they were owies (however you spell that). Now she knows what they are called and has to point out all of my freckles.
