Baking with Grandma

On Thanksgiving morning, Emily helped Grandma make a few pies. Unfortunately, we could tell where Emily went through the house. She had flour fingerprints all over the furniture.

New Camera

This is our new camera. It's a Sony CyberShot SH50. It's pretty cool. The screen on the back of it moves around so you don't have to move your camera in a weird position.

Early Christmas Present

For the past few weeks I have been complaining about our camera and how I don't really like it anymore. We bought it right before Emily was born knowing we would take a lot of pictures, being first time parents and all. The other day I asked Matt what he wanted for Christmas and he said, "I don't know, but I have an idea of what I want to get you". I asked him what he was going to get me, thinking he wouldn't say anything. Then he blurted out "a new camera". He had done some research on cameras and asked around at work and already new which one he wanted to get. Over the next few days he was showing me what he had in mind and I started to get really excited. He went out and bought it the other day and said it was an early gift that way we could use it for the holidays coming up. I am soo excited about it and it really does a lot of cool stuff.

Today was a really pretty day and so we went to the park and experimented with the new camera on Emily. This first one is Matt's favorite and mine too. It's amazing how the quality of the pictures are already. They are so much better than with our old camera.

She kept chasing this squirel around and picking the bark off the trees.

Making Cookies

Yesterday, Emily and I went to Target to check out all of their Christmas decorations. We found those cookies that have designs on them and I thought they would be easy enough for Emily to put them on the cookie tray. Once we got home, and after her nap, she helped me put the cookies on the tray. There were a few that she just threw on there and I think she tried to eat one. She had a lot of fun helping me. She also got an Elmo stocking and ornaments for her little tree in her room. I'll post some pictures of them later once we finish decorating the tree.

Lil' Mama

Last weekend Emily came out of her room pushing her baby in the stroller and she had on her play glass slipers and Elmo backpack. She cracks me up. She also got some soft fuzzy socks in hot pink and purple. She kept wanting to wear them with her slippers and she had a hard time walking in them because the socks are a little slippery.

I Did It!!

Last night while we were watching the results for the polls Emily kept taking her pants off and then would put them back on. The first time she did it she had them on inside out and she was so proud of herself. She did it again so I could catch it on video.
