Little French Girl

On Sunday, we went to church with my parents. I had her in this cute outfit that Matt called her french outfit. She was wondering around the house while Matt and I were getting ready and she came across her overnight bag. She was digging in it and found her little pink Bible in there. I saw her walking around with it and didn't realize what she had in her hands. It was so cute. It was like she actually new we were going to church.

This hat didn't stay on for very long. I just put it on her hoping she would keep it on long enough for me to snap a quick picture. At least she kept her bow in for most of the time we were at church.

Christmas

Well, we had a great Christmas. Matt's parents came down from Texas on Christmas Eve and stayed with us until Wednesday. Santa left some of Emily's gifts for us to put together for her, so we spent Christmas Eve night putting everything together and all of the little stickers that went on everything.
Matt's a little too big for the princess chair.
Santa thought that Emily needed practically every Little People set there is for Christmas. She got even more that were wrapped up and all the accessories that go with each set.

My parents got Emily the table and chair set and Santa left her the Princes Kitchen set. She also got the matching Tea Set from my Uncle David and Aunt Cindy. Emily has already made us some delicious muffins and cookies in her new kitchen.

Matt had to get her Baby Dino Land and the extra dinosaurs that came separate. It actually is pretty cute. Now Uncle Chris can play Baby Dino at our house too! He loves dinosaurs.
She also got this huge Care Bear. She loves it and hugs it everytime she sees her bear. Emily enjoying her new toys.

Our living room was trashed after opening all of the presents. It seemed like it took forever to open them all because Emily wanted to help everyone open their presents.
What a fun little Tea Party. Daddy's having Tea Time with his little Princess. He said next time we are having a boy. He's tired of looking at pink all the time.
We also got her this cute Zebra thing. She doesn't like her rainforest jumper anymore. She kicked and screamed when we tried to put her in it. So we thought she might like this better because she can get on it herself whenever she wants to.

Laugh My Butt Off-Tickle Me Elmo

My dad wanted to get Emily a Tickle Me Elmo doll, but didn't know they were in a secret box. He calls it Laugh my Butt off because Elmo rolls around so much when he's laughing. Matt and I found one at Wal-Mart when we were in Tulsa this weekend. We did Christmas early this year with my family and then we are having Christmas at our new house with Matt's parents. My dad was looking at the box after we brought it home and he turned on Elmo to hear him laugh and Emily was intrigued by it. She kept wanting to see it, but we put it away until everybody got there to open presents. She liked it when it was still in the box and not moving around. As you can see in the next video, she didn't seem to like it. She kept trying to get away from it later on. She had to warm up to him because now she likes him and laughs at him. This morning she was hugging him and carrying him around the house.

Christmas Party at Incredible Pizza

Last night was Matt's Christmas party for work at Incredible Pizza. We had lots of fun seeing all of his co-workers and their families. After we had dinner I just let Emily wonder around instead of me carrying her. She kept trying to pick up all the trash on the floor and I kept telling her no no. I was worn out by the end of the night. We didn't get home until after ten last night. She really liked this race car game. She was doing it all by herself and won fourth place out of ten. Not bad for the first time ever.

Here is Emily crawling out of some sort of tunnel.

Here she is sitting in a ceramic car.

Emily Breakdancing

Okay, I know, you guys are probably tired of seeing Emily dance to her Dancing Santa. But, she is doing a new dance move and it's so funny. She twirls one arm around in the air and bends her knees to go down real low. I know this is bad to say, butI just hope she doesn't grow up to be one of those girls dancing on top of tables at some bar.

Pullin' A Pops

The other day, Emily was playing on her car and then would climb off of it and run to me. Then she would go back to the car, climb off of it, and then would run to me again. She did this for about fifteen minutes. She had on her pants, but without any shoes on they kind of start to fall off of her. She ended up pulling them off and went bottomless until we put on her pjs. Her Pops, Matt's dad, likes to flash his belly at her and so she was pulling her shirt up to pull a Pops.

Santa's Little Helper

I took this picture right after she woke up from her nap today. You can still see the outline of her binky around her mouth.
She was reaching for my Holiday Mint Blast from Sonic. They are very tastey!!

I let her finish off the last part of my candy cane. She really likes them and got mad at me when I went to pull back more of the plastic part off.

Brownie Girl

I bought this little sweater dress online at Old Navy.com and I've been trying to find some little boots to go with it. I found these boots at Payless and they went perfect with the dress. She looked so grown up in the outfit.

Throwing Away a Kleenex

I got a video of Emily throwing away a kleenex. After she did this, I caught her trying to throw away the remote control to our TV, while I was making dinner. She is walking really good now. It seemed to happen overnight last week. She is walking everywhere she goes instead of crawling with a few steps here and there.

Trash Girl

This little stinker has caught on how to use the trash can. The other day, Matt couldn't find his favorite OSU koozie and he thought that I put it somewhere. Later, he found it in the trashcan. She has also thrown away some of her toys and I have to fish them out. I caught her trying to throw away my kitchen towel too.

Care Bear Santa

Matt braved the icy roads this morning to go to Target for paper towels. He said we had to have them because we were out. Whatever! He came back with not only paper towels but a new Care Bear for Emily. It's not just any ole Care Bear but a Santa Care Bear. It is pretty cute though. She was cuddling on the couch with it this morning and flipping through the channels on TV. It was funny.

Not Just for Kids

I bought these bath crayons sometime last week and decided to give them a try. I know Emily can't really use them yet, but I had fun with them. The crayons just have colored bath gel in them and they are a little hard to squeeze out. So, you almost have to be at least a few years old to know how to do that. Her hair is starting to finally get a little bit longer and crazy looking when she wakes up in the morning.

Gingerbread Jammies

I got these new jammies at Gymboree the other night. I had a coupon there that we got from Emily's pictures with Santa. Matt got her the Santa Hat too. It's a little big on her right now.

Snow Cute

This is the shirt she's wearing in the video. It says 'I'm Snow Cute' on it. I saw it at Baby Gap the other day and couldn't resist it.

Baby Excersize

The other night, we were doing video chat with Matt's parents on the Xbox360. Emily was getting so excited because she saw them on TV. It could of also been from eating some Cinnamon Toast Crunch earlier. They were showing us all of their christmas decorations. She seems to show off when we are around other people. Her new thing now is swinging her arms fast when she's dancing.

Chillin'

I took this picture of Emily the other morning right after she woke up. She likes to snuggle with really soft things now, whether it's a blanket, a soft stuffed animal, or her new pink coat. Oh, and she's always hugging all of her toys now.

Chair

The other day I noticed Emily was climbing is this chair and she loved just sitting in it. Of course she didn't sit in it long until she climbed back out to climb into it again. We've been keeping it in our bedroom and really haven't gotten it out since she was a baby. I'm gonna have to break down a get that one that matches her room. It looks like a comfy chair, but it is a little expensive right now. I wish we could find a good deal on one that looks similiar to the one Lacey got Abbey.

Santa Clause is Coming to Town

Santa's Here! Emily has been so excited about the Santa's we have around the house and was excited when she saw him at the mall today. I had the day off today and we went Christmas shopping. She saw him and started waving at him, but as soon as I put her in his lap she started bawling. They finally got a somewhat decent picture of her. It's ridiculus how much they charge for a picture with him. I just wanted one picture but they make it to where you have to buy a package of them. So I got the cheapest one and spent $17 for two 5x7's. I tried to get her to stop crying by giving her Minnie Mouse, but it didn't work. That's why Minnie's in the picture. As we were leaving Emily was waving goodbye to Santa.

More Christmas Decorations

I got this cute little ornament the other day at Cinnamon Bears, a baby boutique store in Edmond. I love going in there to see all the new stuff they get. I know the lady that owns the store. She comes into Hobby Lobby every once in a while. The ornament says 'Our Little Princess'. You can even personalize it by writing their name on it and the year. I'll have to have my mom write Emily's name on it because she has better handwriting than I do. I've been looking for a cute baby ornament that doesn't say 'Baby's First Christmas' since this is her second Christmas. But, it feels like its her first because she is more aware of everything and is always pointing at all of the decorations.

We added this light up train set to our yard decorations. After Matt saw all of Jessi and Chris's decorations he said that we didn't have enough. He still wants to add more lights around the garage and along the driveway.
I made this bow for the mailbox. Eveyone else that has Christmas decorations up in our neighborhood decorated their mailbox too.

Thanksgiving

Well, Thanksgiving was three days ago and I'm just now getting to add the pics from then. I had to work the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. I didn't get home until ten o'clock tonight from work and I'm just wired so I decided to add the pictures now. Luckily I didn't have to check at all but I still got annoyed with the customers that would come up to me to ask stupid questions. Anyways, here are some of the pictures I took from Thursday.

Here's my sis, Kaci. We were trying to get a picture of all three of us, but Emily didn't want to.

My mom, Emily's Mimi, was trying to help her walk.

Emily just kept starring at my sister until she became more comfortable with her.
Emily and Mommy.

This is my cousing Jonathan. Emily seems to really like him. She just kept starring up at him. He was laughing at her because she would not move an inch. She was just mesmerized with him.

He kept making funny Donald Duck noises. I remember when I was little that my Uncle Dave would do that too, he's Jonathan's dad. Emily really liked it.
I thought this one was funny. She's not really picking her nose. Her finger just happened to pass by when I took the picture.

Emily loves to sit and flip through books. Mimi and Grandpa were looking at the book together and Aunt Kaci had to sneak in the picture.

All of the sudden Emily climbed up on Jonathan's back. She thought it was so much fun.

My mom and I went into my cousin Bethany's room to try to get Emily to take a nap. She was wired from all the excitement and all the people that were there. We found this wig in Bethany's room and I tried to put it on her but she didn't like it. I think it was some sort of Hannah Montana wig.
I guess everyone else was off cleaning up because I didn't get any pictures of anyone else.
We had lots of good food. Emily really seemed to like my Aunt Cindy's Brocolli, cheese and rice casserole. She makes it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also ate most of her turkey but then started to throw the rest on the floor. Since we were over at my aunt and uncle's house we deciced to just feed her off of our plates.
